Manager, Procurement/Co-Pack/Systems Finance

Job Description:
POSITION FUNCTION & SCOPE: To coordinate all planning cycles, develop forecasts and strategic plans for Del Monte Operations with specific focus on procurement and co-manufacturing which represent $0.
4B in COGS.
Provide financial support to the Director of Procurement and Co-Manufacturing via timely and accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly cost reporting.
Perform ad-hoc cost analysis as requested by Operations and/or Finance management.
The Supply Chain Finance group relies on SAP, Anaplan and BW for information and analysis.
This role would be responsible for Anaplan modeling specific to Procurement but would also assist with coordination of data collection from SAP containing the planning data to the Anaplan BU Cost Collector model for passing Supply Chain costs to the FP&A module.
In addition, this person would develop user reports in BW to support Operations and Supply Chain.
Support the innovation process via accurate cost modeling and cross-functional collaboration (with Operations and Marketing teams).
PRIMARY Responsibilities: To ensure adequate internal control procedures are in place to protect and effectively utilize Company assets.
This is accomplished through active management of the following: Lead the Procurement and co-manufacturing forecasting process including monthly/quarterly/annual forecasts and long-range plans.
Understand and utilize market indicators on key procurement drivers in analysis of actual results and forecast projections.
Understand changes in sales volumes and impact on Del Monte's cost structure via periodic material requirement explosions.
Report changes in volume requirements to DLM Operations to ensure proper visibility.
Coordinate significant Bills of Material updates with production facilities to ensure accurate materials requirements.
Manage the analysis and reporting of procurement and co-manufacturing costs (vs.
budget, forecast and prior year).
Lead the monthly review meeting to report cost trends and seek Operations alignment to forecast assumptions.
Identification and financial evaluation of new opportunities for cost reduction.
Responsible for monitoring and tracking appropriate programs aimed at assuring that the Company's financial objectives are met.
Support the innovation process via cross-functional collaboration.
Specifically, incumbent will perform cost modeling for potential new product co-manufacturing locations.
Provide timely costs and analysis supporting Formulation Changes, Manufacturing, and Customer Pricing bids.
Understand Co-Manufacturing contractual obligations and perform "in-house vs.
outsource" cost analysis.
Provide ad-hoc cost analysis, reporting and present financial results as needed (board decks, weekly reports, etc).
Work with Financial Accounting and external reporting to ensure compliance with corporate policy and accounting principles.
Supervise development and upload of ingredient and packaging items cost standards.
Improve and enhance forecasting capabilities of the Anaplan Procurement model used in forecasting and analysis of product costing.
Assist in coordination of forecast updates with cross functional departments and systems (APO, SNP, SAP, FPA Anaplan, etc.
Assist with documentation of the system flows and user processes for Anaplan.
Understand data flow between SAP, Red Shift, Anaplan product costing model to Anaplan FP&A model.
Assist with update of Supply Chain Corporate scorecard as needed.
Other duties as assigned MINIMUM Qualifications: Financial management experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis.
Cost Accounting experience.
MS Excel, Access power user.
Proficient in MS PowerPoint.
Experience in SAP, Anaplan.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience in working with team, leading projects.
Knowledge of commodity markets, futures, options, swaps and other hedging strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; Accounting or Finance preferred.
MBA/CPA/CMA a plus.
3-5 years of experience in Finance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
