Human Resources Manager

A local manufacturing company is offering a fast paced, high growth potential position as a Human Resource Manager. We are looking for talented people who are interested in long term employment with a great company. The position responsibilities include: ?Manages HR operations by recruiting, screening, interviewing, selecting, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, growing and retaining staff. ?Planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing staff job contributions, maintaining compensation, determining productivity, resolving complex employee relations and issues, and implementing positive change. ?Develops action plans, measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, researching, developing and updating policies, procedures and guidelines. ?Manages all compliances related to employee ?Provides coaching and feedback to employees across the company on how to implement high standards and improve individual performance. ?Conducts exit interviews as needed, and perform qualitative data analysis of turnover, discipline and other metrics to minimize future losses. ?Acts as an employee advocate, while balancing business needs and requirements. Working on a regular basis with managers, providing feedback as to how best manage and grow each individual employee. ?Manages day-to-day activities related to all hiring and HR needs, including company benefits. Maintains confidential employee files and personal information, as well as employee relations and communications. ?Maintains work structure by creating and updating job requirements and role definitions for all positions. ?Ensures compliance with all federal and state employment laws, staying abreast of changes and new developments. ?Organizes employee team-building events, birthdays, anniversaries, company parties, staff appreciation, annual reviews and personal development opportunities for all staff members.
?Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development. ?Above average oral and written communication skills. ?Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. ?Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff members. ?Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on the executive management team that provides company leadership and direction. ?Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the company Board of Directors. ?Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and skills in database management and record keeping. ?General knowledge of various employment laws and practices. ?Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs. ?Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality. ?Excellent organizational skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
