+ Works safely by following all plant safety work rules and regulated safety requirements
+ Troubleshoots and corrects mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic malfunctions under the direction of others.
+ Performs preventative maintenance tasks for all equipment.
+ Performs facility repairs.
+ Communicates and cooperates with other employees in a positive and constructive manner to achieve the goals of the department.
+ Promotes safety by following all plant safety rules and reports violations and unsafe practices to the production supervisor.
+ Promotes GMP policy and product safety.
+ Participates in daily housekeeping responsibilities including keeping all work areas clean and organized.
+ Other duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
+ Perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks on hydraulic, mechanical or pneumatic problems from electrical problems on most industrial systems and pinpoint all electrical problems.
+ Capable of troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing mechanical malfunctions.
+ Responding to calls for assistance with building issues, jams, or shut downs, and other facility issues.
+ General work area housekeeping
+ Maintains and participates in parts ordering and inventory management systems.
+ Ability to work independently on projects and work assignments.
+ Work with contractors, service providers and other maintenance personnel.
+ Ability to operate all automated and mobile equipment within the facility.
+ Communicate status of work-in-progress and completion estimate with team and management.
+ Remain current in training for LOTO, NFPA/NEC standards and other KPI, as required.
+ Complete assigned projects to support Production Departments.
+ Must know and follow all GMP/AIB/FPA procedures.
+ Must be able to work safely and follow safety rules and JSA procedures.
+ Must be able to identify and report violations and unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
+ Must be able to wear protective clothing as hair net, uniform, rubber sole shoes, gloves, long-sleeved shirt, and earplugs.
+ Must be able to effectively respond in an emergency situation such as earthquakes, fire, and accident.
+ Must be able to follow all department procedures and directives.
+ All of the above are essential job functions.
Reports directly to Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Department Lead
+ High school diploma or equivalent and appropriate vocational training.
+ Good manual dexterity.
+ Must provide own hand tools and toolbox.
+ Completion of an Apprentice program or equivalent.
+ Able to read, write, speak and understand English directions/instructions.
+ Basic math skills.
+ Able to add, subtract, divide, multiply with decimals and fractions.
+ Able to convert between English and metric measurement systems.
+ Able to work overtime on any shift on short notice.
Compensation: $27-$30 per hour DOE with an additional shift differential of $1.25 per hour.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
