AFM Technician - Team Lead

Summary:
The Aseptic Filling Maintenance (AFM) Team Leader is responsible for successfully applying process and strategy as developed by AFM Supervisor that by design are intended to positively impact improvement in safety, quality, efficiencies, cost and equipment utilization in the in the Aseptic Filling and Down Stream Equipment areas. The AFM Team Leader is responsible for successfully applying process and strategy as developed by AFM Supervisor that is designed to develop growth opportunities for his/her department and for ensuring a safe and secure work environment that operates in compliance with SOPs, GNPs, and state and federal regulations. The AFM Team Leader successfully applies team objectives that support current annual operating objectives, including budgets and KPI systems, and ensures that product and process improvement opportunities are realized. The AFM Team Leader is responsible for interfacing effectively with the Production/Operations Department, Parts Department, QC/QA Department, Engineering Department, and other CNP Departments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversees and directs a variety of electronic, electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, machine conversion and precision set-up related activities as team leader.
Makes clear assessment of equipment trouble calls in terms of problem statement, priority and resource needs based on current business objective and directs and adjusts maintenance resources based on current business need.
Expedient identification and heightened involvement and notification of appropriate parties in on-going and hard to solve problems ensuring minimal impact to current business objective as well as KPIs
Understands clearly at all times current daily and weekly business objective, based on that understanding actively directs, adjusts and interfaces as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Leadership Responsibilities (Management & Team Leaders Only):
Daily Assignment of work duties as needed for respective shift ensure that current business needs and objectives are realized
Track/Schedule AFM Technician e-time and PTO for respective shift through designated administrative resource
Control AFM overtime for respective shift in conjunction with AFM Supervisor
Co-perform annual AFM performance appraisals for respective Technicians
Schedule all safety/informational meetings for AFM Group
Review generated documentation; take appropriate actions to ensure that current business needs and objectives are realized
Maintain 24 hour file for respective shift
Communicate production schedule to on shift AFM Technicians
Communicate to AFM Supervisor issues generated from shift meetings
Execute breakdown maintenance response through AFM Technician and Production/Operation staff ensuring current business needs and objectives are realized
Create and edit maintenance tasks/work orders based on equipment/part efficiency/service cycle working in conjunction designate administrative resource
Continued evaluation of used parts to extend/decrease service cycle, and as well to realize possible remanufacturing options
Willingness to take ownership and seek resolution of hard to solve on going problems.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma with at least 7 10 years of maintenance experience in food processing and or high speed filling, aseptic experience a plus.
Computerized Service Maintenance Management Software (CSMM) knowledge in an Industrial application.
Training in electrical, electronics, and mechanical maintenance repair.
Extensive working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical mechanisms.
Experience with servo-motor driven system, AC & DC electricity and/or drives.
Experience in machine change over/conversion and precision machine set-up
Analog and digital circuitry.
PLC programming and troubleshooting of programs.
WCM experience is added value.
Knowledge of CMMS

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
